Learning music theory can often feel like learning a new language; albeit a mathematical-fractional based one. It’s not essential to read music, but really useful for when learning how to play any musical instrument.
Music theory tuition is available at grades 1-5. ABRSM practice books are highly recommended. All lessons look closely at the theory of music and use of piano to help put a sound to the note.
