methoDrum Drum Tuition

methoDrum is a drum school based in Walsall that offers all aspects of drum tuition, at all levels. Ambidextrous dual kit set ups are used, fully detailed music theory is given and a full P.A. system for backing tracks and grades* is also part of the set-up.

methoDrum was originally established in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter in 2001, but relocated to Walsall town centre in 2006.

methoDrum’s syllabus has evolved since Scott studied National Diploma in Popular Music, 1996-1998 and Certificate of Education, 1998-1999.

*Rockschool gradings are a well sought-after syllabus that people (children especially) like to use to measure their progress as a musician and even gain UCAS points (grades 6, 7 and 8) after which, there are also diplomas (level 4-6 national curriculum).
